This is the first screen in our opening sequence, I made it on Photoshop using the actual dictionary definition. We implemented this into our work because we wanted the audience to have an understanding of what the title means and the connotations of it. I think this will be effective from the audience's point of view because by the end of the movie they will appreciate what the title and overall meaning of the film.
This is a screenshot taken during the construction of our title screen. We took a picture of our main character and used a threshold filter to make it two blocks of black and white colour. This helps merge the character into the background and define the isolation the character feels throughout the movie.
This is the final version of our title screen, in our opening sequence you will see the title 'Delude' fade in and out to help create an atmosphere for the rest of the movie, also this effect makes the opening sequence flow better and contrast against the disjointed flow of the flash shots that come after.
